Davit Launched Liferafts
Davit launched liferafts are
specially designed for use on passenger vessels and cruise
ships where they are inflated at deck level in front of muster
stations and then lowered by a davit with the passengers on
board. An extensive range includes 12, 16, 20, 25, and 37
person liferafts.

M.O.R. Liferafts
The
ZODIAC MOR (Means of Rescue) is of a unique design. It has been
specially developed to meet the latest requirements introduced for
Roll On/Roll Off passenger ships and is fully approved. Now
mandatory on board RO/RO passenger ships, it provides a safe
transfer of survivors from sea level to the deck of the ship in
rescue operations.

O.R.I.L. / I.B.A. Liferafts
These liferafts are used by passenger ship and fishing vessels
on inland or coastal waters. ORILs are designed for immediate
use, no matter which side up they inflate.
An extensive range includes 4, 6,
10, 20, 30 (37) (45), 50 (65) (75), 100 (122) (150), and 151
person liferafts depending on national rules.

Search and Rescue Transponder: SART
The implementation of the SOLAS Rule 26 as specified in MSC.134(76), will impact the operators
owning liferafts on ro-ro passenger ships as soon as the first of July 2004.
